HI! My name is Meredith Hale! I graduated with my B.A. in Elementary Education from Trinity International University in 2008. My greatest title is Mommie to four amazing kids. I started tutoring in 2014, which was the start of this amazing learning community. I enjoy reading (really!), making music, working out, and doing anything outside.

I have been working in education for nearly 20 years now. I have experience working with children from Pre-K through high school in one-on-one and classroom settings in all subjects. I provide services in math and literacy at The Learning Door. I enjoy spending time with my wife Maria and my two daughters Samarah (10) and Evelyn (8). We have two golden doodles that bring lots of joy to our lives too, Mozart & Ruby. I look forward to working to meet your child's needs and assist him or her in growing leaps and bounds!

My name is Megan Patterson and I am so excited to be a part of The Learning Door! I am a wife and a mother of two littles. As a family we love to bake, play board games, and explore the outdoors. For the past four years, I have taught high school math at Westminster Christian School. While I loved being in the classroom, I am looking forward to working with students in a smaller setting and focusing more on individual growth and success.

Hello, my name is Cathy McCall and I am excited to be working at The Learning Door. I'm a passionate high school English teacher with 23 years of experience helping students think critically and develop a lifelong love of literature. I believe strong reading skills start early, and I enjoy supporting young learners as they grow in confidence and comprehension. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and our energetic nine-year-old twins.

Ann's gift for teaching math began in middle school, eventually leading her to pursue a master's in math education from DePaul University after graduating from Princeton. While raising her children, she taught part-time at DePaul and ran a private tutoring business, and most recently completed another master's degree in pure mathematics. She has found immense gratification in sharing her passion for math with students throughout her life. I enjoy playing music and reading.
